We are challenging all SouthWest Metro staff to a Walking Contest Sunday, March 31st through Saturday, April 20th.


Staff at each building are encouraged to walk as many steps as they can during the week and record their success on a pedometer, fitness tracking product, or smartphone app. Enter in your steps for each week by the following Monday at midnight and increase your site's chance to be the "Trail Blazer" for the week.

Once everyone's results are in for the three week contest, a winner will be chosen to earn The Big Prize.



HOW WE CALCULATE THE WEEKLY WINNER

To make it fair to all sites, we will be calculating the average number of steps per participant. For example:
WEEK 1
TEAM 1: 240,00 steps ÷ 6 participants over 7 days = 10,000 steps per person per day*
TEAM 2: 560,000 steps ÷ 10 participants over 7 days = 8,000 steps per person per day

*Team 1 would be the winner for the week
