Wrapped Holiday Gifts'Tis the Season for Giving! 

Every year, our programs seek ways to give back to the community. This holiday season, our students are hosting drives to benefit folks of all ages and backgrounds.  

Hosted by New Beginnings 

Drop off by Friday, January 3rd 

Students from the New Beginnings program at SWMetro are collecting new and unwrapped gifts for "Gifts for Seniors" now through January 3, 2019. 

The Gifts for Seniors program provides donated gifts and life-affirming personal contact during the winter holidays to isolated seniors in the Minneapolis/ St. Paul metropolitan area. 

The most requested gifts by delivering agencies are women's and men's clothing and pajamas/bathrobes (sizes small - extra large_, small appliances like coffee makers and microwaves, greeting card sets with postage stamps,  bed sheet sets and pillows/blankets (all sizes), towel sets, non-skid slippers and socks, and gift cards for groceries. 

Gifts can be dropped off at the East Creek Family Center.

Workshop Sale December 19th in the 401 Auditorium 

Donate new gift items appropriate for family gifting. SWMetro's students will be able to "shop" for items for their families to gift for the holidays who might not otherwise be able to.

November 18th - December 17th 

A food, personal hygiene, and household drive to benefit those in need this holiday season. All items will be delivered to local food shelters.
