Educational Foundation Announces 2020 Recipients

SouthWest Metro Educational Foundation LogoSouthWest Metro Educational Foundation has released the names of Recipients for the 2020 Scholarship Awards. Students submitted applications through early March for consideration. All 23 applicants will be awarded a scholarship, and all scholarships distributed for 2020 will total $29,000.

Scholarships are available to graduates of SouthWest Metro Intermediate District 288 programs. The primary purpose of these scholarships is to encourage outstanding SWMetro students and to applaud perseverance in education despite obstacles. In lieu of the annual Scholarship Awards Breakfast to honor the recipients, students will be featured on the SouthWest Metro Intermediate District Website (swmetro.k12.mn.us/foundation) and on District social media channels (facebook.com/swmetro and twitter.com/swmetro).
