Here's to achieving success in the classroom and in life!

Real World Courtroom Experience
Paul David

Criminal justice students at Southwest Metro Intermediate District 288 got out of the classroom and into the real world as they observed a criminal trial at the Carver County Justice Center in Chaska. These are the kinds of experiences offered at SWMetro that allow students to explore their passions and ultimately become inspired to focus on a certain career.

After coming out of the courtroom, Angelina, a criminal justice student, commented, "I found this trial to be so interesting. It is making me think a lot about what type of career I want with college getting so close!"

Along with Criminal Justice classes, SWMetro's Career & Technical Education offers students opportunities to explore careers in agriculture, automotive technology, computer repair, cosmetology, culinary artistry, drone and aviation technology, early childcare, electrician services, health sciences, photography and video production.
